This website design was done for the Canadian town of Elk Point. The clients needed a website that would focus on the idea that the town is a "people kind of place", a place where families could visit and spend quality time in a nature environment. The design focuses on the nature aspect and is meant to have an approachable, friendly feel, that would appeal to families. We used warm colours, flying leaves and grunge tree and forest overlays to achieve that nature friendly look. For the top banner, we created an image of a cup in the forest, with an Elk Point badge on it, as camping is one of the main tourist attractions of Elk Point. To better integrate the brand with the website design, we used the logo shapes that form the letter "O" from the logo to create custom heading ornaments throughout the site.
